ROBERT HAZARD, my good ole' pal, passed away at age 59 on August 5. Robert who had his band ROBERT HAZARD and the HEROES saw success in 1982 with his hits Escalator of Life, Change Reaction, was responsible for setting the Philadelphia music scene on fire in the 80s with local bands, Bon Jovi, The Hooters, TheA's, Cinderella, Britny Fox, TEEZE, just to name a few who went onto national status.
Hazard wrote Cyndi Lauper's biggest hit "Girls Just Wanna' Have Fun." Funeral services were private and a memorial service was held in Philadelphia on Friday night.
