ACE FREHLEY'S ROCKET RIDE

ACE FREHLEY rocked into Atlantic City's HOUSE OF BLUES with a blistering set that included (Hard Times, Rock Soldiers, Rip It Out, New York Groove) his famous Fractured Mirror much to the delight of me and the fans. Ace played to a packed house which left no one feeling empty but singing Ace's tunes on the way out. Openers were Edgar Winter and Rick Derringer ( who incidentally played on 1983's LICK IT UP's Exciter) . Ace just recently finshed up a very successful tour of the USA and Europe from April to June. Photo by J. Frank Hagan. Rocket Ride Tour logo design by ACE FREHLEY.Thank you to CAROL KAYE.
When will his long awaited CD come out? We're not sure but we are determined to find out, but more live shows from the Spaceman in the USA would be welcome.
Next ACE FREHLEY live date is:Sun-07/13/08
Pryor, OKPryor Creek Festival Grounds

NO US KISS TOUR

I can not imagine a World Tour without touring the States. After a remarkable sell-out KISS tour of Europe, the band is playing a mere four shows here in the US- all of them out west.
But why? Could it be that there is no interest at the moment of the band? No promoter is willing to take a chance on them for fear of losing money? Without question Ace Frehley on the Alive/35 tour would make all the world of difference. Maybe half of the original band is not enough during these times. After all it's a highly competitive summer concert season with the likes of Judas Priest and Motley Crue just naming a few. We hear from Paul Stanley "Until we sort out the next leg, we don't want to stop, so we're doing a few US shows for our enjoyment, as much as the fans." But is there really anything to sort out?
US KISS DATES:
08/04/08 Glencoe Camp Resort, Sturgis, SD.
08/29/08 Pearl Concert Theatre at the Palms Las Vegas, NV.
08/30/08 Harvey's Lake Tahoe Outdoor Arena Stateline, NV.

KISS MASK IS BACK!

Kiss Mask published from 1988-1995. We put out several interviews over those years including ERIC CARR, ACE FREHLEY, PETER CRISS, BILL AUCOIN, BRUCE KULICK and EDDIE KRAMER to name a few as well as exclusives and being the first to announce 1990's Hot In The Shade tourdates as well as Paul Stanley's 1989 solo tour. We've not only prided ourselves for being the first with the track-listing to HITS , but offering one of a kind stories and interviews. We plan to bring you the best of the best and reprint these fascinating interviews for you to enjoy from time to time as well interesting KISS, ACE FREHLEY, PETER CRISS and BRUCE KULICK (and Vinnie Vincent if we can track him down) news and and current interviews. Please feel free to make comments regarding what you'd like to see on the KISS MASK WEBZINE. We also plan to feature the die-hard KISS fans with their most incredible KISS Collections along with some interesting tid-bits never seen before in any webzine or a fan magazine. Our goal is to offer more than just the norm for the fans of KISS, ACE FREHLEY, PETER CRISS and BRUCE KULICK. To the right is our very first issue printed in 1988. We started with myself, Mark Cooper, artist Matt Porter, Thomas Valentino and Gary Smigocki. Just the three of us with a few more contributors that were involved later on. We took great pride in what we did then and will continue that pride with this new venture. Cheers!
